CompAir air compressor
accessories
Why refine compressed air?
The damaging and corrosive
properties of water are well known. Untreated
air at atmospheric pressure contains large
amounts of water and other contaminants such as
oil droplets and dirt particles. When the air is
compressed the concentration of moisture and
other contaminants increases. If allowed to
remain in the system this corrosive mixture has
a detrimental effect on pneumatic equipment,
causing unnecessary production downtime, product
spoilage and reduced equipment life.
Compressed air filters remove
the oil and dirt content while compressed air
dryers remove water vapour before air reaches
the point of use. |
F-Series refrigerant air dryers
The air flows of CompAir's
F-series dryers have been carefully matched to
the requirements of the CompAir range of
compressors, ensuring optimum performance, and
guaranteed dew points. Environmentally friendly
refrigerant and insulation are standard across
the range.
FH Series
F4H to F30H Models are for flow rates upto 3m3/min
and pressures upto 16 bar. F40H-F1100H are for
flow rates upto 110m3/min and
pressures upto 12 bar. A modulating hot-gas
bypass valve ensures optimum dew point control
under all operating conditions. The pressure
actuated control immediately reacts to
variations in air flow guaranteeing the dew
point.
FT Series
The FT Series from CompAir goes step further.
With it unique energy-saving “TTS” technology,
it combines respect for the environment with the
opportunity for significant reductions in
running costs compared to a conventional
refrigeration type dryer. They perform within a
wide range of ambient and compressed air
temperatures, giving optimum performance
whatever the application.

CompAir desiccant air dryers utilise the most up
to date technology, to give pressure dew points
of -40oC as standard and by
appropriate flow de-rating -70oC; a
vital requirement for industries demanding the
ultimate in air quality. Desiccant dryers work
on the principle of adsorption of water vapour
through a desiccant bed.
The basis of the unique
construction is a bed of desiccant material in a
pair of chambers. the beds are used and
regenerated in an alternating sequence. Two
operation systems are available, they differ in
the method of drying - or regenerating the
desiccant material. Heatless version utilise a
percentage of the dried air (purge) for
regeneration.
Heat regenerative versions
use electrically operated heater discs to
supplement a reduced purge air to provide more
efficient regeneration. A modular design give
total installation flexibility to match specific
customer requirements.

CF-series compressed air filters
CompAir's wide range of
compressed air filters remove oil, water and
dirt particles before the air reaches point of
use. The filters offer maximum protection
against contaminants down to 0.01 micron in size
and can remove oil down to less than 0.003mmg/m3
.
Liquid is removed by
automatic drains fitted as standard. Safety and
strength are ensured are ensured by lightweight
cast aluminum, and for higher flow rates,
fabricated steel housings. For maximum life and
minimum maintenance, all CompAir filters are
protected internally and externally against
corrosion. To meet varying requirements CompAir
filters are available in five filtration grades;
Grade A - Pre filtration,
Grade B - High efficiency general purpose
protection,
Grade C - High efficiency oil free protection,
Grade D - Activated carbon filtration,
Grade E - General purpose dust filtration.

Condensate management
Condensate drains
Removal of condensate using
drain valves is simple, however a hidden cost of
many types of drain valve lies within their
operation, that they also discharge compressed
air with the condensate. The CompAir solution is
a range of electronic level sensing drains that
detect and drain only when condensate is
present. Intelligent operation always ensures no
unnecessary loss of valuable compressed air. The
CompAir drains are a reliable, easy to install
cost effective solution for condensate removal,
removal with a model to suit every system or
application.
CS-series oil/water
separators
Discharging oil contaminated
condensate from compressed air systems is not
only harmful to the environment, it is probably
illegal. Efficient on site disposal of
compressed air condensate is possible with the
CompAir CS-series of oil/water separators.
These oil/water separators
effectively reduce the oil concentration in the
water to a permitted legal disposal limits, this
allows the larger volume of clean water, up to
99.9% of the total condensate, to be safely
discharged into the environment. The relatively
small amount of concentrated oil can be disposed
of in a legitimate and economical manner.
